Last updated: 13. December 2025

EmuDevs (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a user-generated content hosting platform. This page provides transparency about how we handle content reports and takedown requests.

1. Platform Role

All content on EmuDevs is uploaded by users. EmuDevs acts solely as a technical hosting provider and does not pre-screen or endorse user content.

2. Reporting Content

Content may be reported for reasons including:

  • Copyright or intellectual property claims

  • Legal complaints or court orders

  • Platform abuse

  • Security or safety concerns

Reports may be submitted by:

  • Rights holders

  • Authorized representatives

  • Legal authorities

  • Platform users

3. How Reports Are Handled

When EmuDevs receives a report:

  1. The report is reviewed for completeness

  2. The reported content may be temporarily restricted or removed

  3. The uploader may be notified (when appropriate)

  4. Additional information may be requested

  5. Further action may be taken for repeat reports

Actions are taken in accordance with applicable law.

4. No Automated Enforcement

EmuDevs does not use automated filtering or proactive monitoring of uploads.

Content action occurs only after a report or legal request, except where immediate removal is required.

5. Transparency Statistics

To promote accountability, EmuDevs may publish aggregate statistics, such as:

  • Number of content reports received

  • Types of reports (copyright, legal, abuse)

  • Actions taken (removed, restricted, rejected)

These statistics do not include personal data.

6. Counter-Notice & Disputes

Uploaders may contest removals by submitting a counter-notice. Each dispute is evaluated individually.

7. Abuse of Reporting System

False, misleading, or abusive reports may be rejected and could result in restrictions or legal consequences.

8. Legal Framework

Our handling of reported content aligns with:

  • EU Digital Services Act (DSA)

  • EU E-Commerce Directive

  • German Telemedia Act (TMG)
